Project Level

On Project level, you can monitor the current project costs and their general trends. Here, you can see the influence of different KPI on the overall project cost.

The project costs are based on EPAM Cloud Billing policy which is described in details in Account Management Guide.

You can get the information on the current prices for the available EPAM Cloud infrastructure elements by calling the or2price Maestro CLI command.

One project can be activated in several regions. As the pricing for different regions can differ, we provide you with the separate statistics for each of the regions in which the selected project is activated. The only KPI group available for the overall project statistics is Agility KPI that gives you the number of the used VMs with different states.

On Project level, the KPI Value represents the actual total sum for the current month, whereas the Trend graph illustrates the relative changes during the last seven days only.

The Project level Deep Dive allows to compare the costs on different KPI groups for a project within the selected region.

  • Compute Service Cost KPI

    The Compute Service Cost group gives the information on the basic project cost factors.

  • Agility KPI

    The Agility KPI group gives the statistics on the project machines number changes during the last 7 days.

  • Storage Service Cost KPI

    The Storage Service Cost KPI provides the cost for the storage resources usage within the project.

  • Network Performance KPI

    Network Performance KPI provides the information on the internet traffic within the project.

  • Windows disk I/O performance

    Windows disk performance KPI group provides the information on the overall operations per second performed on Windows machines.

  • Linux disk I/O performance

    Linux disk performance KPI group provides the information on disk read and write operations on Linux machines.

  • ACS

    ACS KPI group data give the statistics on the Auto configuration service and return the number of Linux and Windows machines running on the project.

  • VM Lifetime

    VM Lifetime indicators provide the information on the lifetime of the VMs existing in your projects. Each value identifies the number of currently existing VMs of the specified age. The information on the VMs that were removed before the report creation is not included.

  • Dashboard metrics

    Dynamic Dashboard allows to add a set of metrics, not available on Monitoring and Radar pages. These metrics allow to monitor the overall project costs, quota and infrastructure utilization.

  • Optimization

    These values provide the information on the time your project VMs spend in running state during the latest closed billing month. Each value gives the number of VMs with a specific runtime rate (the time the VM was in running state, in % of the overall VM lifetime within the month). The report includes currently existing VMs and the VMs that were removed before the month ended.

  • Service usage

    The report provides the information on the number of VMs engaged in EPAM Cloud Services and covered by them. The value in the C2S column gives the overall number of VMs that currently exist in projects. The values in other columns give the numbers of service-related VMs. The information on the VMs that were removed before the report creation is not included. The report takes into account services in the following states: Available, Unavailable, Error.
